Shane Pomeroy

Shane Pomeroy is an associate attorney at Fournier Law PLLC whose area of expertise focuses strictly on family law. Family law is a broad term covering a wide array of subjects including but not limited to dissolutions, paternity, timesharing, child support, alimony, and domestic violence injunctions.

Mr. Pomeroy graduated cum laude from Saint Leo Catholic University, received his Juris Doctorate from Coastal University, and is licensed as an Attorney and Counselor at Law for Florida courts. In law school he served as a legislator for the Student Bar Association and was responsible for executing new policies and managing budgets for the University, as well as ensuring that his constituent’s voices and/or concerns were heard and addressed. Mr. Pomeroy trained to be guardian ad litem for the Second Judicial Circuit.  Additionally, he was part of the team that facilitated the hosting of Jacksonville’s 2020 Citizenship Day.

Mr. Pomeroy’s passion for family law is driven by his personal experiences.  These experiences coupled with his work with the Guardian Ad Litem program confirmed his decision to commit himself to family law.  His personal understanding of the negative effects family law proceedings can have on parties and/or their children motivates his conscious deliberation on the best holistic outcomes when addressing any issue.
